Getting there:

We took a ferry from Trapani (Sicily) to Tunis. This service is operated by Tirrenia Line (Via Roma 385, Palermo, Sicily - 58 57 33).
Services are also run between Tunis and the Italian ports of Naples, Livorno and Genoa.

Cost - Trapani to Tunis, 2 people and 1 4WD - approximately £150 (one way)


Visas:

British nationals do not require a visa for stays of up to 3 months - your passport is stamped on entry.

Cost - approximately £2.50 per passport.


Carnet de Passage en Douane:

Not required - vehicle registration is stamped in the driver's passport
